A new resource was created.
What it means
Usually the result of POST (or PUT to a new URL). A Location header should point at the new resource.
What your client should do
Read the Location header or the returned ID and store it for follow-up requests.
Should you retry?
No. Repeating the same request will give the same result.
Try it
The free practice API returns this status on demand, with the headers a well-behaved API would send. Call GET /api/play/status/201 from Endpoint Client and open the Explain tab.
