Certification policy

This policy describes how the Certified API Integration Practitioner credential issued by StellerSight Private Limited through Endpoint Lab is earned, verified, renewed and revoked.

Requirements

Attempts

A failed module test can be retaken after a cooldown that starts at five minutes and grows to one hour. A failed exam can be retaken after 24 hours, up to 3 attempts in any 30 days. Exam questions come from a pool that never appears in practice, and answers are not disclosed.

Grades and validity

Pass (75–84%), Merit (85–94%) or Distinction (95% or more). A certificate is valid for 24 months. Recertification opens 90 days before expiry and issues a new credential.

Integrity

During the exam, leaving the exam window, exiting full screen, copying, pasting and opening developer tools are recorded. If these events pass a threshold, the certificate is held for review before it becomes valid. An administrator completes the review and either releases the certificate or voids the result if a policy breach is confirmed.

Verification

Each certificate has an unguessable credential ID, a QR code and a public verification page that reports whether it is valid, expired, revoked or under review. Certificates are signed with Ed25519;public keys are published at /api/verify/keys. A certificate can also be exported as an Open Badges 3.0 credential.

Revocation and corrections

Certificates may be revoked for issuance errors, confirmed misconduct, or fraud. The reason is shown on the verification page. Name corrections are made on request to admin@stellersight.com.

Recognition

This is an independent professional credential. It is not a university degree or government-accredited qualification.
